Existían sólo para servir al estado. Fueron concebidos en Palacios de Apareamiento controlados. Murieron en el Hogar de los Inútiles. Desde la cuna hasta la tumba, la multitud fue uno de los grandes NOSOTROS.

En todo lo que quedó de la humanidad sólo hubo un hombre que se atrevió a pensar, buscar y amar. Vivió en las edades oscuras del futuro. En un mundo sin amor, se atrevió a amar a la mujer de su elección. En una era que había perdido todo rastro de ciencia y civilización, tuvo el coraje de buscar y encontrar el conocimiento. Pero estos no eran los delitos por los que sería perseguido. Fue marcado para la muerte porque había cometido el pecado imperdonable: se había destacado del rebaño humano sin mente. Era un hombre solo. Había redescubierto la palabra santa y perdida.
