This is a new title in "Young Reading Series Three", which is aimed at children whose reading ability and confidence allow them to tackle longer and more complex stories. The book tells the story of the Holocaust from the ancient roots of anti-Semitism through the persecution in post-World War I Europe and the horrors of the 'Final Solution'. Told in a sensitive and informative narrative, this book combines the first-hand testimony of Holocaust survivors with historical facts. Illustrated with documentary photography when appropriate. It is developed in consultation with Alison Kelly, who is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Early Reading Specialist at the University of Roehampton.
